Maryland Public Service Commission Launches Website Redesign

News Releases |

(BALTIMORE, MD) – The Maryland Public Service Commission has launched a new, improved website design that will enhance functionality and provide easier navigation for users. The new-look website can be found at the Commission’s web address, www.pscmaryland.com

In an effort to provide greater transparency, the refreshed site design enables users to more easily navigate the site for filings, reports, data and resources, and to better understand the Commission’s organizational structure and areas of regulation. A case search function, links to various filing portals and a calendar of events are featured prominently on the home page.

Digital Ink, based in Silver Spring (Montgomery County), provided web design services for the site based on input and recommendations of the Commission’s staff.

“Our goal is for visitors to our website to easily find what they’re looking for – this allows users to be more efficient in their search for information and resources as well as gain a better understanding of Commission activities and decisions and helps to streamline business processes for regulated entities,” said Kumar P. Barve, Chair of the Commission. “Our website serves as an important starting point to access what we do here, including our oversight of the safe, efficient and economic delivery of utility services to the citizens of Maryland.”

The site is designed to be:

  • Compliant with accessibility best practices, enabling everyone to easily use the site;
  • Optimized for mobile devices for easy access while on the go;
  • Fast and secure, with optimizations for search engines and AI tools;
  • And feature clear navigation and content to help users achieve their goals.
